Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer who has received critical recognition for her talents. Sagittarius is her birth name, and she was born in North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She's the eldest of three kids that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) as well as Anne Smith who was a psychologist. Her parents are of English as well as Scottish heritage. Moore struggled due to the fact that her family was always moving due to her dad's employment. Moore was a student at Frankfurt American High School in Germany when her parents moved to the United States. Moore began her career in the theatre. For the former, Moore won numerous awards as well as praise from critics. Moore was first cast as the lead role for the film Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg's casting of Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the most successful films of 1997, represented a huge change in Moore's career. She was awarded an SAG nomination in 1999 for her role she played in Magnolia which was a highly praised film. The Hours starred Moore in 2002. It was also nominated by Nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Most recently, she was in leading roles is in 2022, After You Finish Securing the World. The actress has made herself known on the screen in Hollywood and also as an author for children. In 2007, she published Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. The book was a huge best seller, and was later made into a TV series as well as musical. The author has also released her memoir, My Mom's Foreigner, a memoir in 2013. Moore, as a very accomplished author and actor is also known for making her personal life public. She divorced John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore then married in 2003 has two children with her. Moore's main focus is her friends, family and career.
